Hur Eunoh
Oriental ink · 24k gold leaf · hanji
Hur Eunoh is a contemporary Korean painter working with oriental ink, color, hanji, and 24k gold leaf. Her paintings hold the breath of life within the stillness of winter — birds, flowers, pine trees, snow, and moonlight settle into quiet natural scenes.
The harmony between deep ink tones and pure gold leaf creates a meditative, mystical atmosphere. The gold is not ornament; it is the enduring vitality of nature, a light that persists through the cold.
Across more than two decades of practice, her work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Seoul, Paris, and across Asia, and is held in private collections internationally.
